* This subforum is simply for the uploading of files that relate to SPCs in any way. Missing title screens, applications related to the format (timers, taggers, etc.), and similar things. Do not upload SPCs here.

* Do not upload anything that is not SPC-related, or it will be deleted. We are not handling MP3s, PSFs, USFs, GSFs, or any other format at this time.

Did something happen with the admin Interface? When I tried to update info on a composer, I got told "couldn't execute query". (Was trying to update info on Akihiko Mori)

Code:
This fine composer unfortunately died of cancer in the late 1990's. May he rest in peace. (January 8, 1998 - http://sheetmusic.sblo.jp/article/27241396.html )

Last known games to have composed for are:
Wonder Project J2 (Nintendo 64)
Pretty Fighter X (Sega Saturn)
Doraemon 2: SOS! Otogi no Kuni (Playstation)

The site has been really screwy lately. I've noticed that the "downloaded" counters for everything seem to have reset sometime back, as have the votes for unreleased sets. I have no idea what could be causing any of these things...

Datschge has been doing some backend work in preparations for console music history launch, it's possible that something got broken due to that. I will let him know about the problem since he doesn't frequent here.

Okay, got an reply, Datschge has fixed CaitSith's problem and does not know yet what caused YK's problem.

He also asks that in the future, please contact him directly by mail or other way as he doesn't browse this forum.

Hm. First I've heard of this "Console Music History"... care to elaborate? I wonder why Datschge hasn't been in touch with me lately, at that. I hope he's not upset about this forum; I created it not so much to replace the Yahoo group (which admittedly hasn't seen any activity in a long time), but kind of as a community thing, because so many people had requested it. It *has*, if nothing else, done a fair job of streamlining contributions, so...

Right, I've been meaning to page you about it and ask some things, I've started a topic about it in the news and updates subforum.

I don't really want to speak for him, but I doubt so. He's just RL busy from what I can gather. Try emailing him if you need anything, it's possible your last message was just eaten by a spam filter. :)

There are a few SPC sets that are not up on SNESMusic.org due to playback problems on SNESAmp, just to note. I submitted all four of them (and one of them was not dumped by me, having been submitted so long ago). They are...

- Clayfighter 2
- Mickey's Playtown Adventure
- Shin Togenkyo (This one's the worst one of the bunch... you'll see if you try it through several SPC more modern players)
- We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story

You'll find them in these forums. They are under Site Submissions, and they are not locked.

Just consider me your friendly SPC dumper. Also a bit of a perfectionist (though not too literally)... I make sure my dumps are at the first note. I might even hack away the SFX if needed.

Want a music modifier for a particular SNES game? All you need to do is ask via PM (or you can check out the Music Modifiers topic and post there) and I'll be on the job. ^_^
