Maybe we should start marking our topics as new or updated to prevent confusion... and duplicates. I've done mine now starting with this one.
This is one of those games that could have had all of its tracks used. I found two unused tracks: one via the sound test, and one via the music modifier that I made.
The one in the sound test was presumably to have been used in the final match against Da Judge. My proof is this: search for 06 00 09 00 04 00 07 00 05 00 08 00 0C 00 09 00 0B in a hex editor. These correspond to the music IDs for 7E1E0Axx, which is the music modifier code. The last one is not accessible in the game, and if you try to get there, you'll glitch out the game while playing basketball. Maybe they couldn't come up with a unique way for a final game, or they couldn't get the music to play? Anyone's guess here.
The second one is a music modifier-only special. I guessed that it would be the original staff roll track before they threw it away for one of the basketball game pieces of music (2 Hot to be specific).

Want a music modifier for a particular SNES game? All you need to do is ask via PM (or you can check out the Music Modifiers topic and post there) and I'll be on the job. ^_^
