I am considering using Youtube to make playlists on my favorite video game songs. What i've noticed is that a lot of people get their songs taken down by Youtube for violating this or that policy. Is there a way, or does anyone understand the law as to how to keep the music up? Is it merely just copying and pasting the right words that keeps Youtube off?

I personally think of more current music as being more prone to this than NES or SNES music. It's especially true if the music is a raw recording straight off of a non-video game album (and believe me, the music of today has this problem, not so much the video game music of the past, especially when you factor in internal chip limitations).

Just consider me your friendly SPC dumper. Also a bit of a perfectionist (though not too literally)... I make sure my dumps are at the first note. I might even hack away the SFX if needed.

Want a music modifier for a particular SNES game? All you need to do is ask via PM (or you can check out the Music Modifiers topic and post there) and I'll be on the job. ^_^
