I recommend just punching.
Music is at 00. SFX is at 01-09.
Beware: the music does not automatically stop!

Want a music modifier for a particular SNES game? All you need to do is ask via PM (or you can check out the Music Modifiers topic and post there) and I'll be on the job. ^_^

0081D1??

Wanted to see if there *were* more songs since the Genesis version has a lot more. Oh well. Going to finish up the Bass Masters Classic games now.

Now accessible in an all-one pack! Did have to determine where it would be a good place to switch banks, though... (nensondubois' code for 7E006201 is actually a music modfier for the entire music collection).

Super Mario All-Stars
Although this can be combined to play Super Mario World music at the title screen with the correct ROM, I'll just cover the original set for now.
Title Screen & Main Menu Music Modifier
Sub-tune
7E0062xx
Bank
808AFDxx
808B01xx
808B05xx
In order for the bank switch to work, you must wait for the Title Screen to fade in, play the music at least once, then fade back to black. Then the requested music pack will load (I couldn't do it any earlier most likely due to an incorrect sample pack). The bank modifier requires safe-cracking, so here's the list of valid values:
00 80 0B (01-02) (This is just simply the sample pack all over again as a pass-through, because by default the requested bank is already loaded.)
00 80 1F (01-06, 08-10, 12-15. 07 and 11 appears to be duplicates)
00 C0 1F (01, 04-0E, 10-13. 02-03, 0F appear to be duplicates)
00 80 0C (01-18)
00 C0 07 (01-10)
The sub-tune modifier works in real-time.

16-Bit XMas 2012
This game is undumpable in SPC format because it uses membler's NSF sound driver, which streams the music data.
Music Modifier
808281xx
The range is 00-02. The sound and game crash after 02.

Tales of Phantasia
Opening (and some cutscenes?) Music Modifier
C41F7BA9
C41F7Cxx
The range is 02-4F. 50 is silence, and the game crashes after 50.

Star Ocean
Virtual Reality Sound System Logo Music Modifier
91F7FCxx
The range is 02-43. The game crashes after 43.
Title Screen Music Modifier
98A3D1xx

BS-X BIOS

Menu Bank Modifier
94C055??
F3 - BIOS Bank (01-20)
F6 - Town Bank (01-1E) (1F)
F9 - Unused Bank (SatesupuDX 4)

All of the songs from SatesupuDX 4 are unused in the BS-X BIOS. Thanks to Luigiblood for the original finding.

Also, the full composer list for the BS-X BIOS are:
Akito Nataksuka, Yuichi Ozaki, Naoto Ishida
This also applies to all Nintendo BS Magazines as well.

Could someone please take a look at Tenbu Spirits?

That's the only Wolfteam game we don't have dumped, and the menu and first gameplay tracks are great - would be nice to have a complete rip.

Way ahead of you. :D I just recently wrapped up tagging with that after identifying the last three tracks. I even gave six of them official OST names! The other two did not appear to be in the OST. Here you go: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=1168
