I noticed something very quaint while listening to the Waterworld soundtrack by Dean Evans. In "Attack 1" (wawo-07.spc) around 2:10 minutes in you'll hear these distinct pinch notes from the guitar lead. Going through the track's samples I find 2 different guitar leads with differing harmonics, but there were no actual pinch samples to be found. I tried converting the .spc to .it with OpenSPC to take a closer look at that segment and isolate the channels, though the conversion isn't accurate and it's just these 2 notes harmonizing eachother regularly. But in the .spc I swear there's some more advanced interaction going on there to dynamically produce the sound. Anyone have a clue what's going on here? Leveraging some kind of unique SPC700 feature?

Could possibly be using the SPC700's pitch modulation feature, though I don't have the means to test at the moment. That's definitely something that wouldn't be reflected when converting using OpenSPC though.
