I've got the composer info for Classic Kong... that's because it was simply ported over from Donkey Kong.

First of all, Shiru produced the game, and thus is the developer. The programmer's page: http://shiru.untergrund.net/

The music was orignally composed by Shigeru Miyamoto (with the exception of the Title Screen music, which was composed by Yukio Kaneoka... this is assuming that the music is from the arcade version, and only the Title Screen's music does not exist there), from http://themushroomkingdom.net/dk_fuzzy.shtml . The music was ported over to the SNES by Shiru.

These days I'm actually producing a sound driver of my own... in actual SPC700 assembly.

Want a music modifier for a particular SNES game? All you need to do is ask via PM (or you can check out the Music Modifiers topic and post there) and I'll be on the job. ^_^

How did this rumor even get started?
Every reliable source states music for Arcade version of Donkey Kong was done by Hirokazu Tanaka.

Hirokazu Tanaka only did the sound effects: http://www.squareenixmusic.com/composer ... ects.shtml

Actually, this website does say Yukio Kaneoka did the music for the original arcade version (if that's correct, then I'm good with that): http://www.vgmonline.net/hirokazutanaka/
