Did we take care of them...? Or do you still need me to help walk you through more of the install?

I tried the "drop down multiple choice" box option again. Strangely, this time it worked. Go figure. I left you as a mod, though, just in case we get bombed again; the more hands to clean up their mess, the better. :P

Okay. Sounds good. If you ever need me to help with that other thing, just let me know.

Want a music modifier for a particular SNES game? All you need to do is ask via PM (or you can check out the Music Modifiers topic and post there) and I'll be on the job. ^_^

Yeah, they've gotten pretty bad all of a sudden for some reason (right after I was thinking about how there hadn't been any spambots here in a long time...)

Well, sadly, Revenant, they really did a number on Project 2612 It's bad enough that they disabled registrations for the board, for now.

I've had it with these spambots. Most of them are using nonsense GMail addresses, so for the time being, I've just said the hell with it and banned GMail addresses from registering. I'll undo it in a week or so and see if they've given up. But this is just getting out of hand. >_<

This happens with all phpBB forums across the net. It's pretty ridiculous.

This plugin for phpBB 3 seems like it should be able to get the job done. I found out about it from the stopforumspam site; it integrates with their database, which most/all of the recent spambot's IP addresses have shown up on. Opening install.xml in a web browser yields the setup instructions if you want to install it.
