Just glanced at it and left it for later.
Was there anything important there?

Don't even remember everything I wrote, just some thoughts & opinions. Can't really be bothered to write it all again.

I've been working on SNESMusic.org since 2001, and generally enjoyed it.

I leave you with this. The most accurate and concise track naming ever for Tactics Ogre. ENJOY!!!

Thank you for all the hard work and dedication over the years! :!:  8-)

It's been a couple days since CMH is only giving me a 500 Internal Server Error. Are you guys having server problems?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I've been all over the internet looking for info on this and I can't find anything. Is Console Music History abandoned? If so, that's a shame - it's such a cool idea.

Sorry again for resurrecting an old thread.

You don't have to apologize for having a life. :)

Is there nobody else who could take up the reigns in your absence though? It seems like you already did a lot of work on the project, and it'd be a shame to let all that go to waste. Plus the concept is so good! I keep harping on that, but it's true.

Huh. That's too bad. I was looking forward to seeing what came of that project...

...guess I should un-retire and keep SNESMusic.org alive, at least. Dunno. Not like there's been much activity here of late in terms of submissions.

I'm all tied up in college work these days to be working on SPC sets (mostly). I still do updates occasionally, though, and I have an extensive collection of music modifiers that I keep building (and I'm also getting very good with finding music that would normally never be found... if it's not used, anyways... I also get real exhaustive with my searches to ensure that they're not used.).

For new SPC sets, I have a magic tagger planned to reduce repetition on my end, programmed in C++ (it's currently half complete... it's missing extended ID666 tagging). However, I'm probably not going to be able to fully dedicate my time to that program until at least Summer 2016.

Just consider me your friendly SPC dumper. Also a bit of a perfectionist (though not too literally)... I make sure my dumps are at the first note. I might even hack away the SFX if needed.

Want a music modifier for a particular SNES game? All you need to do is ask via PM (or you can check out the Music Modifiers topic and post there) and I'll be on the job. ^_^
